The place was just so cozy and the food was decadent. The various items that adorned the walls were breathtaking. We purchased some special oils and seasonings. The drinks were hand crafted and made a perfect brunch.
I had the squash soup with crackers. It was really nice but could have done with more flavor. The cheese plate was great as well. I do wish it had more variety of cheeses on it though. The roasted potatoes could have been made crunchy. My most memorable take away was their pastry which was really good. The staff was extremely courteous and nice.
Vegetarian options: Cheese plate, soup, salad, and can make the Shakshula vegetarian
Beautiful cafe and store along Occidental. High ceilings, clean decor, with a wide range of wines, jams, sauces, flowers, books, and many more things. Cool mezzanine floor for diners and coffee drinkers. Popular on a Saturday afternoon.
I had a great experience at the London Plane ordering Quiche of the day, Croissant, and Green Eggs and Ham.Simply, fabulous. The brand experience of this place was amazing. Never experienced any cafe with this much transparency, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere. They truly know their customers extension of experiences.Food was amazing, croissant was crisp on the outside with enough chewy dough and not extremely buttery.Green Eggs and Ham tasted amazing with perfectly cooked scramble, potatoes and seasoned ham that harmonized with the green sauce. Bit zesty as well. There were flowers, cards, and kitchen goods in store to look around. They were all amazing! Little pricey in my opinion, but definitely eye-catching.I would love to comeback here in the future.
We had our granddaughter’s engagement brunch here..Very accommodating Good food and service. The square and shops around it are fun. Flowers everywhere.. I would recommend it for a ladies run h. .
Has a wonderful lunch. Ham & cheese croissant, salad and a side of potatoes. would order the same thing again. I know their menu varies. Nice setting and a way to enjoy pioneer square. Eat here after the under the streets tour to enjoy the architecture even more.
We had a lovely elevenses here. My only disappointment is that they wouldn’t share the recipe for their amazing blackberry and ginger scones.
Wonderful cafe / grocery store. Highly recommend their Shakshouka for brunch. Great hint of cumin and mint.
This coffee shop is in the historic Pioneer Square district and offers a wide range of breakfast and brunch items and great coffee too, Slightly bohemian in keeping with the district, but the service was great and we really rated our visit there, over some more central and 'showy' places often recommended The shakshouka was particularly good!
Unique 'must visit' place in the heart of Pioneer Square. It's a cafe, restaurant, flower shop, wine shop, bakery with fresh baked bread, cookies, croissants, and scones. Not sure what to call it but fantastic fits. Whether you want coffee and a cookie, or a meal with a hand crafted drink, The Plane has you covered. The space is painted out with a rich white finish yet has a vintage feel. The large windows invite you in and keep you there to people watch as PS life passes by.Super attentive staff, beautiful decor, well executed offerings.

This spot is super cool and very European feeling! It is a great spot in Pioneer Square! I had the green eggs and ham and a raspberry lime soda, which were both delicious. I gave it 4 stars because I made a reservation and somehow they couldn’t find it because they said their system doesn’t sync well with online reservations. They also were out of 2 dishes on the menu and the menu is quite small. I wanted the daily quiche and they said there were all out, but then 15 minutes later they walked out with more of it for other costumers. Overall it was a nice place for lunch and the service was good.
Lovely spot in Pioneer Square. You walk in and you feel like you just walked into a home and garden magazine. The space is so well curated it looks amazing. The food is delicious and a little on the more expensive side, but it's definitely worth it compared to all the bars and pubs in Pioneer Square. The staff are super friendly. On top of going for food they have a wide selection of items you can buy to take away, wines, candles, decorative pieces and even floral arrangements.Top notch spot to break the norm of Pioneer Square.
Such a quaint place with very interesting dishes. So glad we happened upon this hidden little gem. Such a very nice selection of local flowers .
We had a wonderful experience at the London plane. I love the concept of the store and I have wanted to try it out for some time now. I love the interiors. The staff is very polite. We ordered the plane plate and baked eggs with mimosas. Everything was very pleasant to eat. Felt like a good start to my day.
I think my servers name was Amelia, she was wonderful and the hostess and barista were constantly moving, getting things done. I'm not gonna like the chicken special was not my favorite, the texture, little seasoning but I was hungry and it was light. However the bubbly, small salad, coffee and pastry I took with me was spectacular! The ambience, the staff, fresh flowers, all of it contributed to a lovely brunch.Be warned it gets crowded fast, it's pricey but it's worth it
