I visited 216 Union Street’s lively venue, which doubles as a restaurant and performance space. The place was packed—counter seats were scarce, and we waited a while, but the energy made it worth it. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic, though service slowed during the rush. The food from the adjacent restaurant was fresh and flavorful; I tried the Scallop Bliss Bite, which was perfectly seasoned. Portions felt generous for the price. Been to Triple Door several times over the years, and it remains one of the best venues in Seattle to see live music. Not quite the same caliber of musicians that you'll see at Jazz Alley, but Triple Door attracts a different genre of musical artists. Seen some great blues bands here like Curtis Salgado, Tommy Castro, Et al. Came to see Carl Verheyen on our most recent visit and was blown away! We’ve been here to see several artists and bands. From their Christmas programming to their themed nights this gem feels like a vintage night club. The food is from the restaurant next door and never disappoints. And depending on the night they have themed drinks named after the artist’s songs.
The booths are comfy and the bar in the front is a great place to start your night before the show!
