We've been searching for a pizza place that has pies that are crispy (or at least not soggy) in the middle. We ordered a whole sausage pizza and a slice of the pepperoni. Sausage was very soggy in the middle, outer crust was good though, crispy and soft. Sausage was pretty spicy and some of the broccoli rabe on it was bitter. The pepperoni was typical in taste and center crust was better and didn't droop when picked up. We had the chopped salad which was pretty tasty....
I really enjoyed the food here. The carrots are amazing, the Caesar is incredible, the pizza it pretty good too. But the service has been pretty uncomfortable each time I go. The staff are not very inviting, and always make off putting faces at you, it also takes a while to get service, or have people check on you sometimes. I remember I had a service (a women, I don’t remember her name) keep serving new people after I asked for the check and I had to wait 15minutes...
As someone from upstate NY, I was amazed to find NY style food that actually tasted like home, did not believe at all that I would find any food 3,000 miles from NY that tasted like home and that it would be great! Helps that the chef is from Upstate NY, words can not express how great this place is and all should experience it! Thank you chef!! Oh and Morgan (also from upstate NY, go CUSE!) 😂
