Nice neighborhood donut shop. Super friendly and helpful staff behind the counter. Very kind and conversational and seemingly quite happy to be there. I was picking up a big order, which they were able to take care of quickly and with a line of customers (which they took care of while making mine). At the end I got an additional order for just me of an apple fritter and a cake donut. Both were excellent. I would definitely go back to this location.

Ready for a 5 star review? I have been to a few Top Pots and the donuts are always a hit due to consistency BUT the beverages are not. This place though, makes the best matcha latte! I am looking at the pic and reminiscing the taste LOL. The service was great especially since I showed up 30 mins before closing and I just hate being that person! The drive to Seattle sucks but I would do it again, especially with Spring arriving.

Really cute little spot. Good donuts, had the cinnamon sugar old fashioned. It was the end of the day so I imagine it has more crunch if you get one earlier but still tasty, and a good cortado. Staff are very nice !!

(Visited on January 31, 2024)Since it was nearby, I tried it because I heard it was famous, and it was light and delicious in a size that was less burdensome than I expected! Plain old-fashioned donut ? recommended-

Really great quality donuts that don't feel too oily / greasy. My favorite is the glazed old fashioned, with the apple fritter as a close second. I believe this cap hill location was the original (?). It could be a nice place to work but seats not at the window are a bit lacking in natural light for my tastes. Cute decor -- feels like a library. Really nice staff. Only problem is they don't have Apple Pay so make sure to bring your actual card.

This place is a Capitol Hill Time Machine. I don’t think it’s changed even a bit in 20 years. It’s perfect. Donuts are great and coffee is better than necessary.

The donuts were pretty good. They have a decent range of options. Not my first choice for a sweet treat but not a bad choice.

Favorite coffee shop in Seattle! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Ian and Tyler are super stars that make the perfect mocha. Would give them a higher than five star rating if I could. ?

I walked in the rain to Top Pot to buy 3x dozen donuts for my office. They have eliminated carry bags for donuts so only people with cars can buy dozens now. I settled for just a donut and coffee for myself. Good coffee and donut, but they saved $0.20 to lose $70 in sales. Go figure.

It's Coffee and Doughnuts time. We escaped a rain shower. Extra star for historical encyclopedias on the shelves.

The antithesis of coffee snobbery, this place has been one of our favorites since we were teenagers. Super fun, friendly and welcoming, and the best donuts in town. So good, Starbucks actually used to serve Top Pot donuts! Be prepared for humor!

These donuts were probably the best we had in Seattle, killer cappuccinos too. We were in town in January and that donut/cappuccino combination was the perfect thing for a misty morning.
