I used to live across the street from this Top Pot and it was kind of my living room for 11 years. Hadn't been there in a million years and was delighted to learn that it's still full of charm and, more importantly, that the selection is still fantastic. (This was the first Top Pot, for any of the foodie historians out there.)

Solid coffee, good donuts, wonderfully chatty staff. I got stuck in the bathroom after ordering a cappuccino and when I got out they offered to remake it (unprompted) bc it had cooled down 🥺

This is just a reliably good spot with reliably good service. They have every type of donut well represented. As an east coaster in Seattle, I can never find a simple breakfast for my commute and this has become a reliable stop for me when I'm in a rush in the morning. But also just a nice treat if I'm out on an afternoon walk too.
