We chose to site at the bar, as we were looking forward to interacting with the sushi chefs. But the ambient noise level was so high, that we could hardly communicate with each other. Note, I chose Great for fine wines, because they have an enviable collection of Sakes.
Great experience all around. Fantastic food, great sake selection, wonderful service and a much more vibrant ambiance/vibe than you find at most Seattle restaurants, which is a great differentiator as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommend.
Better than average atmosphere, very delicious and high quality food. Note that even with a reservation time at the table is limited to 90 minutes, which does feel rushed. Service: no offer for drinks upon seating, not much welcome or explanation of the menus (have to request printed menus). No offer for dessert. Otherwise the wait service was satisfactory (food delivered promptly).
