Tucked near Pike Place Market, Urara Japanese Cuisine is the kind of understated sushi spot that quietly wins you over through craftsmanship rather than hype. Small in size but rich in character, this restaurant delivers an omakase experience that feels personal, refined, and deeply satisfying. This visit easily earns a rare 5 out of 5 stars.

Cool experience to watch the sushi chef make the dishes in front of you. Food came out quick. Texture, flavor and presentation was perfect. Make sure you stop by after walking around Pikes Place!!

Their sushi was delicious, especially the Poke Roll. Must order other rolls or sides because two rolls are not enough, especially if you are sharing with someone else.
Tempura plate was good - broccoli, sweet potato, pumpkin, egg plant, zucchini, and shrimp. It had no flavor (the batter) which is okay, the soy sauce or the sauce that comes with the platter is enough to give it some flavor. Fresh and crunchy. I recommend this.
