Good food, had the burger and it was good. Price was not completely out of control. Drinks were good as well

The only thing that impressed me here were the scallops - 3 for $38 was steep but it was very tender and among the best I’ve had.The ceviche was prepared and served in a strange way, and while the fish and chips looked great I thought it tasted pretty average.

They made a mistake and went above and beyond to make it right. Food was excellent, would return.

Tidal+ has a very pleasant atmosphere and was not too busy/loud when I went there on a few evenings. Pricing is reasonable for a restaurant in downtown Seattle. On my last visit I had a smoked salmon dip which was delightful but very filling despite being a small serve. The staff were very helpful. I’d never tried this meal before and will keep looking out for it elsewhere in future. My colleague had halibut on a different day and said it was good, too. I had a burger with chips and they were juicy and crispy, resp., although the chips were a bit burnt.

The food was fine but overpriced and basic, lacking complexity and appropriate portions. The scallops only came with four small scallops for $40.

First time in Seattle and checked this place out over the past few days. The service is amazing and it is matched with even better drinks and seafood.

I am so glad we got to enjoy Tidal. Stephanie was a fabulous server and was so sweet and we felt very cared for. Julian stopped by our table and we had great a great conversation. The food was fabulous, i highly recommend the Halibut, then Chocolate mousse for dessert!

We walked in at 5p and were seated quickly. Just in time for happy hour! The food and drinks were great. The potato bread was delicious and the sides of smoked salt, honeycomb, and chive butter were amazing. I had a drink called a thousand kisses at the recommendation of the waitstaff and it did not disappoint! Even ordered a second. We tried the fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, and steak and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and our family of four shared the dishes. Great experience!

We stayed at the Hyatt at Olive 8 and we got a daily $15 to spend at Tidal + not to mention the fact that they have $2 oysters during their Happy Hour. One thing that is confusing is that on all of the advertisements within the hotel it said Happy Hour is 3-5pm but according to them it was 4-5:30. My husband and I went on Monday evening shortly after 4pm. We were set next to the window behind the bar. It was a chill and even slightly romantic environment with a darkened room and a candle on the table. We ordered 12 raw oysters (Kusshi), an order of the seafood chowder, and the sourdough potato loaf plate. The oysters were served with a mignonette with apple chunks which added a nice refreshing and "Washington" touch to the oysters. They were shucked and very clean, although we almost missed a little of the sea salt water taste that we often get. The bread plate came with a giant sourdough loaf sliced into 4 large slices on a wooden serving platter. Next to it was a large scoop of a chive butter and a decent hunk of honeycomb, as well as some smoke sea salt chunks. The sea salt was definitely salty! The honeycomb was overwhelmingly sweet but then grew on us. We actually ended up enjoying mixing the honeycomb/honey with the chive butter. The seafood chowder was very hot but felt good compared to the cold weather outside. It was packed with clams, fish, shrimp, potato, bacon, and was a flavorful creamy thickness with each spoonful. We left full and happy. It was a nice quick filler after a long day.

Tidal review Food I was impressed by the amount of gluten free options and the dishes all seemed well curated. I had the gluten free fish and chips. There was great flavor in the tartar sauce which seemed to be in-house. The fish was crispy and cooked to perfection. I was a bit disappointed with the bottom of the fish seemed mushy. I couldn't tell if it was from the condensation from steam of being plated while hot or if it was from the grease. It was served on a wood block. Additionally, the fries were delicious-- crispy and flavorful. Service Not the servers fault but our party had gotten a mix up on their order which took about 20 minutes to correct. She offered my friend a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience, which was kind, but I felt should have been another form of complimentary gesture since he basically had to eat his meal alone because we pretty much finished ours by the time his arrived. Our server was pleasant and tried their best to communicate over the noise in the restaurant. As we arrived, our server preemptively apologized for the loud volume of the restaurant, noting the "terrible acoustics" of the restaurant. She wasn't lying. There was a large group about 15 feet from us and we had to shout amongst our group to hold a conversation. Even when the group dispersed, there was still a loudness to the restaurant that just hummed above normal volume. I wouldn't recommend going here for an intimate evening or during busy hours if you want to have a conversation. Aesthetics Beautiful light fixtures, wood and white quartz throughout the restaurant with elegant table center pieces. Very comfortable furniture and a lot of windows but it's on a busy street so be mindful that there's a lot of traffic and foot traffic so this can take a way from an intimate evening because it's so distracting. Overall, I recommend this establishment for the food. Maybe more appropriate for a business related evening than an intimate gathering.

Oysters fried rice was decent. Staff was very friendly and service was good and food was quick.

[Background: had dinner on a Saturday at about 6 pm] Overall a 3 1/2 star restaurant with strengths on the fresh side (ie shucked oysters, poke). The cooked seafood specifically the halibut or "chips" wasn't over/ under-cooked. Now it's accompanying veggies, fries, or sautéed onions all could be better. The service was exceptional always checking if we needed anything. In terms of the ambiance - a lot of spacious seating & elbow room. Lighting & music permits an intimate setting.

Poor service, we were not checked in and Open Table required a copy of the bill which is a nuisance. Two guests had the surf offering and said it was okay, nothing special. I had a turf offering which was really inedible. We arrived with high hopes and left underwhelmed. We had previously had better service, friendly and attentive, and the food had been better too. This was definitely an "off putting" experience.
