We were there before a show at the Paramount. It wasn't that busy, but service was extremely slow. The servers were great, so maybe they were having a staffing issue. Food was good, portions were just right. Brussel sprouts starter and black cod dish were stand outs.
The atmosphere was great! The food was outstanding! The wait service was subpar. She seemed annoyed to be helping us. The bartender also seemed to be annoyed when we moved from our dining table to the bar for another glass of wine.
I'd been to this place many years ago and was underwhelmed. It wasn't bad, just not memorable for the prices. This time was totally different food-wise. Our table all had a variety of seafood dishes and they were all delicious. Service was super slow, even though the restaurant was not that full, but the servers themselves were fantastic. Shout out to Carlos!
