This was my first time at Violet. Service was excellent. The waiter recommended the fish so strongly that my expectations were exceptionally high, but it didn't disappoint. It was a steelhead filet cooked and seasoned to perfection, with extra crispy skin, yet not overcooked. It came with brown butter cauliflower cut in small pieces so they looked like a grain, but they weren't mushy at all and had such a rich flavor that I initially thought I was eating bits of artichoke...
Words cannot describe Violet! To get greeted by your name upon arrival, to the owner talking to each table, to the amazing service and the FOOD!!! The only thing I regret is not trying Violet sooner!
Violet is a wonderful experience. From the welcome at the door, to the fabulous service, yummy food and great bar, the whole experience is top notch. I highly recommend Violet for a dinner date or a special occasion.
