Food was amazing catered an event held by the discipline Coalition this evening. We had bbq wings, chicken shrimp fettuccine alfredo, garlic bread, salad and fruit. Top it off with peach cobbler. When he says finger lickin good... Definitely the truth. Highly recommended. Help support this locally-owned young entrepreneur young black business owner highly recommend for anything you need catered

Kind of at a loss for words. Had Catfish, Wings, Yams, and the Mac. Everything is excellent. I'm going to have dreams about the Catfish.

Wally’s NW Soul offers an amazing experience with fresh, flavorful, authentic soul food. The food is cooked to perfection, with large portions well worth the price. The collard greens are full of flavor, and the mac and cheese is gooey, cheesy with a perfect crust. The catfish is hot, crispy, tender, and seasoned just right. The yams are good, and the jambalaya with cream sauce is a standout. The Peach Mango MamaLaid drink is delicious, and the tartar sauce is fire. Some dishes received mixed reviews; the red beans and rice were too thick, and one group found the catfish too fishy or possibly undercooked. The restaurant is clean with quick service, and the overall atmosphere feels like home, with old school 90s R&B playing. Customer service is generally friendly and welcoming, though one visit noted a staff member more interested in a phone. Despite this, the energy is great, and the food slays. Many guests plan to return for more menu items, including the catfish sammy, candied yams, and Chicken and Catfish dinners.
