Micro-breweries are quite common. But this is absolutely recommended. I was in Seattle for vacation from Germany. Therefore I can say, very, very good beer. The store has great charm and is well attended.Insider tip, take a Friday evening and for the football enthusiasts, a few meters away is the West Seattle Stadium where O'Dea High School plays. It couldn't be more American than a Friday Night Game ?
We had visited the Alki Beach location 6 years ago. So, we knew that they have great beers. This time, we visited the "Mothership" location and we were not disappointed. The House IPA was great. I also had the Pale Ale SMASH, which was also very good. My wife had the Sounder Stout and said it was very tasty. Needed just a wee bit of mom time so came down by myself for a beer and a 'to go' growler of the Hibiscus Honey Hard cider. Had the Farmstrong Cold Beer Pilsner while I waited. Totally hit the spot and once home, so did the hard cider!
