Everything was delicious and the ingredients were high quality. The people are very friendly and kind. I had Ma Po Tofu and stir fried Green Beans, both fresh, light, and perfect for a hot summer evening.
I love the mom and pop vibe here. The egg flower soup is exceptional. I appreciate that they offer a lunch special with so many choices, since I alwsys want it ALL when I have Chinese. The lunch special includes your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup, and egg roll, your choice of white, brown or fried rice, and then your entree choice. Each is about $15. I placed an order for pickup. Nothing much- just a sweet and sour with rice dish. When I arrived and saw the total amount to be $26 I was shocked to say the least. Just because it's Seattle doesn't mean that a hole in the Wall Chinese restaurant should be charging such an astronomical price for something that doesn't cost much to make. The fact that my card wasn't accepted (Amex) was a blessing in disguise.
