“The food has always been good at Pastime but they haved changed their menu and it is extremely good food for reasonable prices. The atmosphere is family friendly and they have great specials everyday. Thursday French dip and Friday Steak night being my personal favorites. The staff is fun and attentive. AND... They do Kareoke every Friday and Saturday night.

Kid-friendliness: They have family fued trivia on Thursday nights and cornhole, giant jenga, pool tables, darts & even a beer pong table that can be set up to entertain everyone.

“Cowiche Canyon Kitchen + Icehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Named after a canyon that is 6 miles west of downtown Yakima, Washington, Cowiche Canyon Kitchen + Icehouse is one of Yakima‘s most popular restaurants. When I visited on 10/9/24, even though it was a Tuesday night, the place was packed. I waited about 30 minutes for a table. I ordered the Prawn and Avocado Salad, which is one of their most popular menu items. PRAWN AND AVOCADO SALAD ($19) Grilled prawns, avocado, corn, black beans, queso fresco, jicama, lettuce, cilantro, mexican green goddess dressing, served with our tortilla chips The salad was good, but not as remarkable as I expected, given the reviews. It would be easy to duplicate at home. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order it again. I look forward to returning and trying some of their other popular menu items, including the Tortilla Soup and the Prime Rib Dip. The service was very good. I liked the design of the building, but because of the high ceilings and all of the hard surfaces, it is VERY noisy.  Recommended!“

“This is an update review of our experience on Nov 25th. We took our daughter from San Diego to Crafted - again! This was the fourth time in five months. We drove 78 miles to get here (one way). As usual, we took the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Great wait staff, amazing food - each course was sublime. As usual, to start - wonderful oyster - this time with a chimichurri sauce, followed by a cured salmon with in season cosmic crisp apple, then a gorgeously plated sweet potatoes with beautiful toppings (a perfectly seasoned spiced) then a wonderful home made pasta, followed by a farm-raised sturgeon (sublime.... zero fishy smell. Firm meat...) and then a HUGE beef... Then they indulged us with two deserts... We ended rolling out of Crafted in our bellies and 4 boxes of left-overs. Pro-tip - don't finish everything served in each course... as the portion is huge... It just got better in each course. Love this place“

“I made a reservation for Valentine’s day and it was VERY busy. I got seated 10mins after my reservation and didn’t know what to expect. The server was very polite considering the influx of people. The food was EXCELLENT. I had the fettuccine noodles with chicken. Mad respect to the KITCHEN they really make the food to a high standard. Will be back!“

“Haven't had a burger this good in years. So freakin fresh. Fresh non frozen beef patty, oh God just thinking about it is making my mouth water. And they have what's called 50\50 half fries and half onion rings.. blowing my mind, yes!!!!!! The cheapest place too, a regular flame burger no cheese with onion pickle tomato and lettuce is less than 6.00$ the 50/50 is 3.99$ your meal is literally 10$ but the freshness is out of this world.“

“So I was a HUGE fan of Poochies place since the 70s when I went to Davis High School and was so sad when they closed their doors. I can't tell you how many times I ordered a Hun on a bunch with extra cheese! I am talking about around a thousand!!! So we were visiting Yakima this past month when my daughter, who knew how much I loved that hot dog, ran across Winey Dog who, on their menu, had MY Hun on a Bun. She surprised me with the order and I could not believe it but it was the EXACT same delicious, party in my mouth, that I remembered. We ate there 3 times during that visit! There were 7 of us all ordering different things each time and LOVED it all. So if you love awesome food for a fair price and chatting with really cool owners, this is the place for you and your family. Just 2 more fun facts•••• they have some cool old game consoles on display and a pokemon stop! Seriously folks••••support this small business owner!!! They truly deserve it!!!!

“We had the best meal and experience here last night. Our waitress was a total gem and took the best care of our table of 13. Seriously, best server ever, she made our evening! I forget her name, but she is the one who thinks ketchup is spicy and she had strawberry blonde hair :) All of our food tasted so good and we loved sharing many appetizers. Complements to the chef! Each of us had a favorite appetizer but the crab stuffed mushrooms and the Bavarian pretzel, which was huge were standouts! Every single person in our party enjoyed their meal. The drinks were so good. The Cider with honey was delightful. Highly recommend!!“

“Looks like a fast food shop made into restaurant. The service was amazing. I got chips and salsa and beans to start with. I ate the carne asada and carnitas tacos (they are decent sized tacos). The green sauce they serve them with is amazing. The carnitas seemed a little dry but I also showed up right before closing so I think that’s more on me than them. I drank a cantarito and it was delicious and in a super cute photo worthy glass. Will DEFINITELY be back!

“We / my husband and I were there from Rocklin, California at a reunion.. we got there very late. Most of the food was gone. It looked delicious.. however, we didn’t get to enjoy it!! That of course our fault! … but I happen to be very hungry… two of your waiters (gentlemen) asked me if there was something they could get for me! Of course I said, yes!! I asked for Iced Tea .. brought to me immediately and then the second gentleman asked if he could get something for me .. he brought me a small loaf of that delicious bread nicely warm and butter!! It was delicious!! I would like to commend those two gentlemen!! Your restaurant is phenomenal as well as elegant!!! Thank you!! If ever I am in your city I will stop by and maybe the next visit I can enjoy that delicious food you offer!! Beautiful place!!“

The pool tables are in good shape, and the area is large and fun with the way it is set up with the couch and the tractor. The drinks are made to perfection. The karaoke nights are fun. “The food is well priced. You get good portions for your money. Flavor wasn’t there. The food was just okay. It’s my first time trying them and I would give them another try because all the ingredients seemed fresh but the dough and calzone were really dry and the flavor was lacking.
