For an establishment that claims to be local and fresh, imagine my suprise when opening the "crispy chicken sandwiches" to find deep fried Tyson like chicken patties instead that in NO way resemble chicken. We eat very clean and steer clear of chain restaurants but took a leap of faith at the advice of a neighbor and had hopes since it wasn't a chain. Frozen garbage and completely inedible NEVER again.
We've always enjoyed the food from Tootsies until last Wednesday evening. I got a regular burger that usually compares to the great burgers in P.A. at Frugals. But the burger I was served obviously had been reheated from a much earlier time. I called to complain and the alleged manager I talked to was defensive, and denied it might have been reheated. I also had some stomach issues that evening...... Unfortunately, we are now reluctant to return.
My husband and I were traveling through on our vacation. Found this place by the color if the building (love it).
Always a bit of hesitation when it's new. Both had the cheeseburgers, only. Was very filling, delicious, hit the spot. Anyone traveling through this area we recommend!
