“I met with someone today who wanted to learn about spinning on a spinning wheel I had for sale. I had never been to this shop, but we wanted to meet halfway between us, preferably at a locally owned coffee shop. We had a wonderful time, and the coffee was wonderful! And best of all, I found out after we were finished there are gluten-free treats!! I made a new friend today, and we hope to meet once a month. We would love to make this little shop a regular meeting point.“

Java 101 has surpassed my expectations countless times. I stop pretty regularly now on my commute with my son and April is there every morning greeting not just me, but my almost 3 year old with kindness and a smile. I did find it a bit discerning when I went to pay with 1 dollar coins the Barnstable said they didn't accept 1 dollar coins because there's no place for them in the register. Then she said that she wasn't sure that the bank would even accept them. I think they are still legal tender. Just think what she would have said if I had a couple of 2 dollar bills.“
