We were craving ramen and saw this place, figured we'd give it a shot. Extremely impressed! The atmosphere, food and service were exceptional. Always a good sign when a restaurant is busy!
Major kudos to Lucio for his attentive and expedited service. He was handling the Friday rush and managing multiple tables. He still made us feel like we were his only table.
Cannot talk enough about this place! We will be back!

We visited Hakata today to celebrate my 86 year old father's birthday. We lived in Japan in the 80s so we are always looking for yummy Japanese food.

Hakata did not disappoint!

A good old fashioned Japanese restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. We have eaten most things off the menu. Sushi, ramen, black cod Kasuzuke, tempera, Udon to name a few dishes.\nWe go at least once a month for a feel good meal!
