Great Food, flavorful and better than boiling crab!! Great service!
We went last night for the soft opening. They were working some kinks out, but the food and atmosphere was amazing. Great job guys, look forward to many more visits in the future!!
The food was good, but I think it’s overpriced

The Captain Crab is a seafood restaurant with good food and awesome service. The outside is unremarkable, but inside is a fully ocean themed delight with a nice, updated atmosphere. The restaurant is clean. They provide bibs, gloves, scissors, crackers, and wet wipes for each person, as it will get messy cracking crab and lobster. Everything was cooked to perfection, including lobster, crab, crayfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. The sauce was perfection, and the food was very filling with large portions. The alcoholic drinks were great. The server was fantastic, engaging, and attentive. The food came in less than ten minutes. It is a seafood restaurant, so it is not cheap, but quite reasonable for seafood. One crab boil for two people was $59 and could have easily fed three people. Another meal with 2 ice teas, 2 appetizers, 2 lunch specials, and a chicken tender plate was around $100. The lunch specials were big with a lot of prawns, muscles, a 1/2 crab, corn cob, and potatoes. The food was definitely better than Red Lobster. However, one order of half lb of shrimp and half clams had sand, and the garlic butter flavor was bland. The lobster tail was overcooked. Overall, it is a fun, family friendly restaurant.
