“first time at Durkin's per the recommendation of a friend. immediately loved the vibe inside. You could easily elevate your look or stay super casual and you wouldn't stand out either way. My friend told me about the cool bar in the basement but neither the server or other staff members told us about it so know that is there. my boyfriend got the steak which he said was an 8/10 (he's a TOUGH critic) but the portion size was too small. I got the cauliflower cheddar soup and it was delicious! The baguette it comes with was amazing.“
“We were in the area and wanted to drop by again. Our waitress Mikayla was exceptional. The bacon wrapped onion ring appetizer was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our burgerslacked what I would call the "wow factor". Don't get me wrong, it was very good, but the burger patty was missing the seasoning and seemed a little bland. All said, I'll still go back when the opportunity affords itself.“
“As always the food was delicious. My only complaint was the lunch "special". The have on the menu all entrees $17.95, with some exceptions. I asked the waitress about the exceptions and she, not her fault, could only give a couple examples but not specific exceptions. She did say that on the exceptions you could get the reduced price but would get about a third less food. We ordered three average price ($22-23) entrees and I asked that if there were exceptions still give a full portion. Apparently they were all exceptions because we got charged full price for all of them. To be given a 25% discount for a third less food does not qualify as a deal. I said nothing because this was a special time for me with my family. Deceptive practices out weighs great food and wait service. May or may not come back“
“The best. We had to find a new zips, the one near the house has the chunky tarter and I don't care for it. This zips has the zesty, smooth taste I have grown up knowing. Burgers were prepared perfect, and the staff. Well, the staff was right there while training a new employee and stepped in when they got a little flustered. Our order is always special due to my pickiness and they did great. Better sizes of cup o tarter also. Love the stuff for homemade fries, dogs, and burgers too. Thank you so much for the great meal. You have an excellent staff.“
“Loved this place! Went for restaurant week on a Saturday. Came early but wasn't super busy. Sat down right away and had great service and amazing food. Already planning our next visit!I got the Boxty cakes, chicken pot pie (per friend recommendation- it was awesome) and the brownie. Super good food!“
