It was by far some of the best, authentic, Mexican food that I've ever had, & not just in the northwest. I've lived in LA, Reno, etc. This place is a hidden gem.
best food in Spokane.. the owners and workers are fabulous they all have a heart of gold

La Michoacana Mexican Restaurant is a good restaurant that transports diners to the vibrant flavors of Mexico. The chicken street tacos are a standout, praised as the best in the area. This is a good restaurant with a very classic atmosphere. They serve a lot of good food and sell a lot of hard to find Mexican candy and other products from Mexico. The food was very authentic. They have a bakery and that is wonderful and a meat department where you can buy fresh meat. They also do money transfers here. La Michoacana offers authentic Mexican cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and excellent service. The servers are so kind and the place is so immaculate. Try their menudo, pozole, the lengua -beef tongue is a favorite. All in all good place with fair prices and immaculate bathrooms.
