Neato shares space with the Baby Bar and has a funky laid back vibe. The spot feels like a cool dive bar mix with a casual, cozy feel and interesting decor. Nothing fancy but it works great for eating in, grabbing takeout, or a quick lunch or dinner. The burritos are the real star – huge, stuffed with fresh ingredients, loaded with solid flavor and a ridiculous portion that holds together from the first bite to the last. Sauces such as Thai peanut and habanero are excellent and the hot sauce collection is solid. Plenty of good vegan options, including a vegan thai burrito with tofu, and hand made salsas, sauteed fajita veggies, quesadillas and nachos also are satisfying. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and fun, service is great and the atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious. It is a great downtown gem, a better spot for a hearty, tasty burrito when craving something satisfying.
