Panda Express in Spokane

“My biggest complaint is about the soda. With any ice it automatically tastes watered down and disgusting. They did right by replacing the soda, thank goodness. The fried rice and mushroom chicken tasted amazing, leaving me craving more. My friend commented on her dish that the broccoli was too large, even asking if it would be okay for her to use her pocket knife to chop it up.“

“I don’t normally rate restaurants like Panda but their service today was exceptional. You could tell they were shorthanded but their employees were so efficient, working hard, and even gave us drinks while we waited. At least 3 different employees checked on us and let us know it wouldn’t be much longer. I still think our order was done before the app estimated it would be.“

“Panda Express at Northtown Mall was probably the busiest spot in the whole food court when I stopped by. The line just kept going and there were stacks of takeout orders moving through nonstop.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time traveling and grabbing quick meals between drives, flights, bookstores, and whatever else I’m chasing that week, so I notice pretty quickly when a fast food place is actually running efficiently.

They had the full Panda Express lineup going including the newer spicy dynamite chicken along with all the usual favorites. Everything came out hot and consistent, which honestly is all you really want from a busy food court stop.

The nice part about the setup is the shared seating area since the food court has plenty of tables spread around even when things get crowded.

The staff was super friendly and kept the line moving surprisingly fast considering how many people were coming through.

Funny enough, while working later on the Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I realized food courts and airport meals sneak into travel scenes way more than I ever expected.

“I love Panda Express and I usually go to the one in Spokane on Welsley by shadle, and I'll say this one is by far cleaner, better customer service, and great portions of food. Last time I got the honey walnut shrimp from the shadle location I was shocked. It was dry had a different sauce on it instead of the honey walnut glaze. And I'm not a picky eater, I mean especially if I paid good for it, I usually just shut up and eat it, but I literally spit this out, like I was one of my kids when they were 3 lol.“

“Not sure why this one has a low review but we eat at many Panda Express places and this one is by far the best. No complaints lol.

Hi owners, but they did mess up my order though. I didn't find out till I got back to the hotel lol. But it is understandable because the place was very busy. I still recommend your place nonetheless 😆.“

“I drove to this location after a bad experience with door dash earlier and I just wanted to say even with them being short staffed and very busy they were so incredibly nice! Sana helped me and she had such great energy and was very cheerful at the window and order screen, even with her running around trying to get things done. Really turned my night around :) thank you!“

“this is by far the best Panda Express in Spokane. great service and i never have to wait for the food when going through the drive thru. a younger kid in his 20's was working the window and gave me 2 golden coins in change which was also awesome. great job Panda in the valley you guys stand out above the many restaurants in Spokane for fast great service. much appreciated 👍“
