Love the bread here. Thought I had trouble with gluten for a decade, turns out the problem may have been the soy all the big bread makers add! I've been enjoying all the varieties. Finding a table here can be a challenge if you want a delicious toast or sandwich.
An introverts dream spot.
No matter how often you come here, the employees will not seem to remember you, no one will remember your order or ask your name after seeing you every day for a while. It's not a very friendly place. At first I was a little bothered by this, and put off. And then my introverted friend pointed out that she loved that about this place, very little social pressure. Truly fabulous baked delights and sandwiches. We had the boreka, the French onion pastry, the grinder sandwich, and bought some shug to take home and everything we would have again. All hits.
