We wanted to like this place more than I did. The food was a solid B-. We noted on our reservation that it was date night, and explicitly told our wait staff that we did not want to order all at once so that we could have a slow dining experience. But the wait staff assured us we could go ahead and put in our order and they would pace the meal for us. But all 4 courses of our meal came out in under 10 minutes -not of each other-but, all at once. There wasn't even enough space at the 2-seater table for all the dishes. Even worse and most offensively, the wait staff came up to us twice -while we were eating - with carryout boxes, asking if we were finished. There are notes on each of the tables requesting patrons limit their experience to 90-minutes, giving the impression the business cares more about turnover than the dining experience. I would have loved a 90-minute meal. Or even a 60-minute meal. But we spent over $100 in under 25 minutes, and felt rushed and pushed out, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Fast food service at fine dining prices was not the experience we hoped for. It will be a long time before we try this place again, if ever. Reservations for 2 on Saturday August 23rd at 5:00 p.m.

Are you looking for high quality, carefully prepared food? Do you like creative ideas in flavor profiles?
We found a restaurant today that does all that and more! Vivo Italian Bistro is new, elegantly casual with two amazing chefs and a service team that will not disappoint. Highly recommend their chicken dinner entrees and pretty much everything on the menu that would satisfy your craving for Italian dishes!

First time dining at Vivo. Seating was tight and not very intimate. It would have been claustrophobic if all tables had been occupied. Steak was amazing accentuated by the sides and sauce! Next time we will skip the appetizers (brussel sprouts and meat balls which were mediocre) and go straight to the entre. Desserts were good.

We wanted to have dinner here with friends but when we got to the restaurant it was closed yet their voicemail says they’re open on Sunday’s. We ended up going to Jimmy’s instead. We had several friends that were waiting to hear what thought about the food and service and we couldn’t tell them anything. Not sure we will give them another try. If you’re going to be a new business please make sure your voicemail when customers call is accurate or answer the phone!

The newest gem in town! Food was authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. Great drinks & apps. Still drooling over the Prawn and Steak dishes. Tracy our server was excellent and couldn’t have made our birthday celebration any better! We will tell everyone we know and return again, very soon!

Visited Vivo to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it completely blew us away—it exceeded every expectation. Hands down, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

We started with a trio of appetizers: the burrata, Brussels sprouts, and meatballs. Each one was absolutely delicious, and honestly, I didn’t think the meal could get any better… but then the main courses arrived. I sampled everyone’s dishes along with my own, and every single bite was packed with flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection—from texture to seasoning, it was clear the kitchen puts a lot of care into each plate.

Then came dessert. We ordered the tiramisu and lemon tart and my dad and I were a little skeptical about the olive oil cake, but we decided to give it a try—and wow, it completely surprised us. Light, moist, subtly sweet, and full of unexpected flavor. A definite must-try.

Both my parents enjoyed martinis which they both thought were delicious. I opted for a mocktail and it was amazing. Notes of lemon and blueberry perfectly sweet and refreshing! Love that they include a list of mocktails for those who don’t enjoy alcohol.

The atmosphere of Vivo is just as impressive as the food—warm, inviting, and stylish. And a huge shoutout to our waitress, Tracy, who truly made the experience even more special. She was kind, funny, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable when it came to the menu and recommendations. She made us feel taken care of from start to finish.

We’ll absolutely be back.

I ate at Vivo a couple of weeks ago at a soft opening dinner. I had the Cacio e Pepe, one of my favorite pasta dishes and it was marvelous! Had it again last night and it was terrible-so much pepper it hurt your mouth and completely over powered the cheese. Others had the spare rib papardelle and it was as good as the first time. I am so disappointed with the Cacio e Pepe I won’t order it again until they make it as in Rome.

Great place, great service, amazing wine, and yummy fresh food. We were disappointed in the lamb only because it was so good in taste but only two bits of meat the rest was fat and only 2 chops for $50 and no pasta. We wanted more meat and more filling pasta with it for the price. All of the other dishes were amazing and yummy.

We were one of the first guests for the soft opening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We ordered a bottle of red wine from Italy and started with the focaccia bread and meatballs. Everything is made in house, and it shows. It’s all so delicious! For entrees we had the chicken pesto rigatoni and the petite steak. It’s too bad I started getting full, because I wanted to order more food! We ended our meal with the homemade Tiramisu. Best I’ve ever had. The manger Jessie had an amazing attention to detail. I can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful experience of pure authentic Italian dining at Vivo Italian Bistro! 🇮🇹 With wonderful attentive service (Shoutout to Anna!), handcrafted pasta, and charming decor, it’s an experience you won’t forget! Dined in with my husband for a special date night, and we are already planning our next visit. The next pure gem of Stanwood! Every detail has been thought through to perfection. Our food was piping hot when arriving to the table, and the flavor was out of this world! Can’t wait to recommend this restaurant to all Stanwood Locals! Thank you Vivo for having us!

Amazing experience at Cafe Vivo. Food was perfect and all homemade, drinks were top notch and service was immaculate. Jesse, our waitress/bartender was amazing and made us want to come back again. We loved the beets appetizer, burrata salad, creamy chicken rigatoni and the seafood pasta… and the olive oil cake with strawberries and rhubarb 😍😍😍 cannot wait to come back!

We had a great dinner at Cafe Vivo! We started out with the meatballs that were EXCELLENT! They tasted like they were a mix of beef and sausage, they had a delicious smokey taste, and were smothered in a perfect tomato sauce and melty cheese. We had the caesar salad that was as beautiful as it was tasty, with shaved parm, and crispy bread crumbs. For dinner we had the Creamy Chicken Rigatoni, which was a 10/10 the sauce was creamy with a wonderful brightness from the lemon. Also the Spaghetti Bolognese had more of that delicious housemade marina sauce, with perfectly el dente spaghetti. Overall it was a great meal! The atmosphere looks amazing, light and elegant. Super excited for this to be a new regular spot for us!
