If you love the taste of “slow and low” sweet smoke BBQ meats, then you must visit Pure Smoke in Stanwood. It is the best traditional true smoke around, this side of Texas. Jim and Christine are the “super smokers and true pitmasters. They know offset smoking. They purchase special wood to burn to permeate the smokey flavors of their meats. From their two offset smokers come briskets, burnt ends, pork belly, pulled pork, St. Louis ribs, chicken, sausage and BBQ sandwiches...
Jim and Team at Pure Smoke BBQ helped us celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday! Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. I particularly like the Texas style that lets the meat and smoke speak for it self and doesn’t hide behind heaping handfuls of rubs and seasonings. Just salt, pepper, and smoke. Jim’s BBQ sauces are the perfect pairings for anything of the offerings on the menu.

Jim makes the best BBQ around in my opinion. His pork belly is the best I have ever had. I like that they offer a small bowl option if you aren't super hungry but need just a snack.
