Denny's in Tacoma

“Visited on 14 June during my road trip from Seattle to Portland, I stopped at Denny’s for the first time as a tourist. It felt like a classic American diner experience, and I tried their Lunch Special Set at 9.99 each.

I ordered the 1 piece country fried steak. To my surprise, it was actually a deep fried beef patty, but I enjoyed it. The texture was similar to a tender meatball, juicy and flavorful. The set comes with 2 sides of your choice, and I upgraded one to onion rings for an extra 1.29. The onion rings were crispy and worth the add on. My friend chose rice and mashed potatoes. I found the rice a bit hard to chew, though my friend liked it, while the mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting.

Another lunch set was chicken tenders and fries, which came with 4 pieces of chicken tenders, a generous portion for the price. The fries were standard diner style but paired well with the tenders.

For under 10, the portions were filling and the taste was better than expected. Service was straightforward and quick, making it a convenient stop for travelers.

Overall, the food was not bad, and considering the price point, I would rate the experience 4.1 out of 5.“

“Service was prompt, waitress named Anne was courteous and asked me would I like my appetizer first and she delivered the food properly, ordered the zesty nachos was delicious and the triple cheeseburger, burger was huge and served with a knife I see why. And I got a soft drink within a minute of sitting g down. Awesome service.“

“I'm not really a big fan of this place but there is one thing about them that I like if you go online and you look up the milkshakes you will notice that they have a deal going where you can get two milkshakes for $8.99 it is all available only on the app and it is the best deal they have going completely. Me and my husband like to order them sometimes late night because they're open 24 hours everywhere sometimes they do make mistakes with the order and do the wrong thing like give you the wrong flavor or forget to give you your milkshake with your food it's not always perfect that's for sure“
