⭐️ Dirty Oscar’s Annex – Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave
We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly.
First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn’t arrive until after I had already received mine — even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren’t given enough for everyone.

We came to Dirty Oscars for a change of scenery. We live in Puyallup. Food was ok. We got dbl bloody Mary’s, the traditional eggs beni and the elk hash. Hollandaise was good and the elk, sadly was not very flavorful. The thing that sucked and pretty much ruined the meal was when we go the check we were basically charged for 2 bloodys each! $28 for a dbl Bloody Mary. Doesn’t make sense when a shot of vodka is just $8! Asked manager and her response was “I don’t make up...read full review

Dirty Oscar’s Annex ⭐️⭐️
On 5/17/24, I visited Dirty Oscar’s Annex in Tacoma, Washington, “A Moonshine Bar with Great Eats.” This is a 21+ Only business with a Prohibition theme. I ordered the crabcakes.

Garlic | Panko | Coconut Jalapeno Tartar | Side Salad
The plating was surprising, to say the least. It makes no sense...read full review

Dirty Oscar's Annex offers a mixed dining experience. While the Tachos received criticism for lacking flavor, other dishes, such as the Shrimp & Grits and Steak & Cheese, were a hit. The seating area is cozy, with pleasant music, but service can be slow, especially when trying to get attention for refills. The menu has evolved, but the burgers, including a black bean option, and drinks, like the Make Me Sour cocktail, remain a highlight. The food is always good, with the menu featuring things between bread and other American dishes. The chicken and waffles are a customer favorite, with something magical about the combination. The restaurant may be adjusting its hours soon, so customers should keep an eye out for changes.
The food is phenomenal, with everything made in-house, including dressings and even the stuffed tater tots. Service is generally friendly and attentive, although staff can seem overwhelmed during busy times. Prices are a little higher, but the homemade and in-house preparation justifies it. The non-alcoholic beer pairs well with the burger, and the diverse menu offers decent quality, though some dishes and drinks are better than others. The atmosphere is lively, with vintage prohibition photos adding a fun vibe. Sundays can be busy and challenging for staff, but overall, the experience remains enjoyable. The Chicken and Waffles is a popular choice, with well-seasoned chicken, and the Bloody Mary with bacon and veggies is flavorful without being too hot. Customers also enjoy the crab cakes appetizer and the light, flavorful biscuits and gravy.
