“Classic diner with good food for the price. I like the fact that you order before you sit down, you know your food order is in but you still get the service of a sit down restaurant. They keep your coffee topped off and the food is usually pretty quick even on busy Sunday mornings.“

“Shrimp and grits are amazing! Eggs cooked over medium, no snotty whites. Perfect! Bacon was crisp and biscuits were wonderful! Amber is a great server with a great personality!!!!! Thanks for a terrific Sunday morning breakfast!“

“Went there for karaoke but they didn't have it, bummer because I heard it was dynamite. Oh well !
Parking: A lot of parking in the lot, and street parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible bathroom also“

“Their modified grilled cheese sandwiches are amazing. Great atmosphere and service.(And if you have a good nose, you can still smell the waffle cones from a previous tenant)Make sure to put their sister bar "the mule" on your list to visit as well. Easily just as good.“

“Pros: Reasonably priced drinks. Don't forget to bring cash to tip the KJ. Wonderful karaoke atmosphere. Some people are super awesome singers. Some people, like me, are terrible singers. The people in the bar and the KJ are equally supportive of both which is why it's such a great crowd.Cons: Super smokey everywhere. But not enough to deter me from returning. We are already making plans for next week.“

“We were looking for a spot to eat outdoors with our pups and a couple of friends and happened on this gem. Delicious sandwiches, ginger beer and craft cocktails! We'll be back!“

“First you have to understand that this would be considered a drive bar. After that, understanding that they have a few games, pinball, darts, pool and decent people there makes this a hidden spot for fun eat before you go, but at the least they serve liquor and have beers on tap. These are the spots that help keep Tacoma small and are perfect when you really want to just have a drink and unwind with a mixed crowd“

“This place is an experience. Very interesting vibe inside, very friendly staff, and inexpensive beer. Would I eat here? No. I would not. Something about the fact that the place used to have monkeys inside really taints things for me. But I would love to return for a can of Rainier and some karaoke.“

“Looooove Parkway. It's like a secret neighborhood tavern that only the cool people know about. Big Maq and BLBT are my recommended food items. They also have great soup of the day options. And they just started serving liquor for the first time ever!“
