After reading the reviews, I was so excited for my visit to Jin Jin Matcha this Saturday with some friends. The space is decorated so aesthetically and there are plenty of seating areas. I also appreciated that my iced matcha was in the $7 range which is very comparable to other cafes and affordable. My matcha on the other hand was a big letdown. I ordered an iced lavender matcha latte and it tasted neither like lavender or matcha, but slightly sweet milk. The flavor was very underwhelming, not what I anticipated for a matcha cafe. This is a beverage I order often when trying new cafes as well as make at home and this wasn’t meeting the expectations. One thing I felt was missing from the cafe was any type of pastry or cold food item, when meeting with friends or utilizing a location, as a customer I always appreciate a light snack or food option. I was also very put off by the several signs around the location to ask before taking any photos. As someone who loves to share great locations with others and capture experiences, I was put off. Love the location, did not love my matcha, but give this location a try and see what you think.Parking: Paid street parking, can be difficult to find parking especially at peak hours.

I am officially a Matcha Matcha Man for sure!! ( see what I did there?). My beautiful wife and I have visited twice and both times we were greeted and treated with kindness and love. I am sorry that I don’t know her name, but she knows her Matcha. Idk if this is a real word but I’d call her one hell of a Matchender?. I ordered a regular Matcha with agave for a little sweetness. It was delicious. My wife ordered the strawberry Matcha and she really enjoyed hers. I have zero complaints and hope more people check them out.The interior is very welcoming and can hold a decent amount of people with different size parties. They do have a restroom, so no need to hold it ?.If your thinking about changing up your morning routine, check this place out. Hey even if it’s not your thing at least you met that wonderful young lady I was talking about.

A small matcha shop located right by Courthouse Square! The inside was so chic and minimal but did have some cost seating available. My hojicha latte was 10/10 and the mochi donut was chewy and sweet, but not too sweet. Looks like the adorable heart straws were left over from Valentines? But i would have gotten an iced drink just for that if i had seen them first lol. Street parking only. Happy to see a tea shop along the many coffee shops in the area and i will be returning!

My first time trying matcha and I was surprised how much I enjoyed! The barista was wonderful. She explained their menu and offered additions to my drink as a first timer. Can't wait to come back!

Came here for a live music thing they were having one night. Based on what I saw from their social media, they just opened a few months ago last year and sell high quality matcha drinks. I enjoy matcha but hochija even more, which I saw they had. So on a Friday evening we swung by (they normally close at 4 pm or something) to enjoy the music and the drinks. There is limited street parking in front and along the streets down the block, and a few paid parking lots. Luckily it was free parking after a certain time, which I think was 6 or 7 pm. Upon entering we were entranced by a very intimate candle lit scene. I almost thought there was some fancy limited seating romantic dinner going on. The aesthetic was very minimalist, natural, and calming. They have the bar/counter where you order, drink preparation on the right and some baked goods and a refrigerated grab and go shelf on the left. They have some two-person seating along the windows and a long table near the back wall. They were also playing vinyl tonight before the performance. We ordered their classic matcha latte and hochija latte. The drinks were made expertly, with beautiful latte art, served in the to-go coffee cups. I loved my hochija latte - it had sesame milk and just a touch of syrup. The matcha latte was very clean and grassy, but a little too light and bitter. I think it would work a little better to bring it the matcha flavor more using coconut milk or almond milk and adding a hint of sweetness, maybe a matcha syrup or something. Price was your typical high end coffee shop, around $5-$7 per drink, so worth it if you consider this a treat now and then, especially because of the quality. As for the live music that night, we got to enjoy some lovely singing, guitar and cello from Chelsey Scheffe. It was really nice. We enjoyed it. Definitely a nice space for high quality tea lattes, snacks, and intimate venue supporting local artists. Wouldn't mind coming back periodically to treat myself to their drinks and snacks if I find myself this way in the morning or afternoons!

Best matcha I’ve ever had and I’ve tried matcha all over the world. The quality of the tea itself is excellent and the creative latte flavors are unique and delicious. Try the Black Sesame or the Misugaru latte!
