I've really enjoyed Jin Jin for the past year and a half and normally go as a treat for myself. At this last visit I did notice a price increase which I didn't expect. I typically get the strawberry matcha which was already expensive ($8 and some change after tax) but at this visit it now cost almost $9.66. I'm not sure what changed but I don't think I can justify coming here very often for how expensive it is.
Oh my word the iced black sesame matcha was the best I’ve ever had and I’m a little picky when it comes to matcha. Not too milky (I got it with whole milk), perfect light sweetness, delicious black sesame and matcha flavor seamlessly blended together. Barista recommended banana cold foam with it which I didn’t get but sounds tasty if you like banana. Very kind and helpful baristas. Anticipate a bit of a wait for your drink but they are hand mixing all the matcha so it’s...
Great matcha and the best I’ve ever tried (I’ve lived in LA/OC) but I hate how they don’t have a consistent menu for both their locations. I want to try one of the new matcha drinks, but they’re only selling it at the Seattle one :/ I shouldn’t have to drive 40 minutes to the same establishment just because there’s a slight menu difference. Still love this place though.
