I went to the internet looking for another restaurant and decided on this place. I was pleasantly surprised with the combination plate. It was very good and very satisfying. Lots of food. The help is very friendly and he food is served quickly. I brought my food to work and a week later I made an order for everybody at work. We all had great meals that I picked up and brought back to work. Definitely give this place a try. I know it's a chain, but it's a local chain ish so that's okay.

As soon as I got up to the door and read the sign “no outside food” I knew it was going to be an interesting experience. I walk in and see all these signs on the wall “sorry for the inconvenience” of why they couldn’t provide certain services. Not sure how this place is still in business.Anyways, I ordered my food and waited a decent amount of time. I wasn’t waiting long at all. The prices were good. Although the food was delicious and well made, it was a weird vibe in there. I asked to use the bathroom and was told there was someone in there and I waited 7 minutes before I got up and left. Weird weird experience. Definitely will try a different L&L location next time.

A great place for a quick meal to go. The food is delicious. Not a huge selection but everything is well prepared. Not much room to wait inside but typically food comes out fast.
It was our first time trying them and we were super surprised by how HUGE the portions are. We got a lot to try: the Musubi trio, the combo plates with Katsu and ribs, the loco mock, and the mini pork lau lau. All were good. The macaroni salad served with each was also amazing (and we normally don’t eat it). Definitely worth the visit and will be coming back again!The only downside is it’s a small place so seating can be a hit or miss.

Food was okay. Big portions. Called in to make a to-go order, girl on the phone was upbeat and friendly. Went to pick up the food, front desk guy was busy with to-go bags and wouldn't make eye contact, just said "I'll help you when you're ready."Saw the chef/line cook eating his meal in the window, which is gross. I get that it's fast food, but customer service should be paramount everywhere.

Very good food! Got the chicken, Katsu and the macaroni salad. It was a last minute order for my Christmas dinner, and they came through love this place.

Food is reheated old stuff I've been 2 numerous Islanders BBQs and dinners and this place is a far cry also it's drastically overpriced for what they're serving they should give us fresh good food for the price pass on this

Have been going to L&L Hawaiian BBQ since the first one opened in FederalWay Washington then Lakewood now Tacoma Mall.. excellent Hawaiian food.. have even visited the one on Kauai ..Highly recommend!!???Parking: Plenty of parking at all locations!!?
Busy sometimes, food is pretty good, service is average. My favorite is the mac salad and the musubi is always good. The katsu is crispy and chickenful. Short ribs are fatty and perfect
