We were having to fill a 3-4 hour gap in our day, so we decided to go to McMenamins Elk Temple in Tacoma. 6 bars! All with the old world atmosphere. Very enjoyable. We had drinks, but no food. Looks like a great Happy Hour menu. We were able to walk around with our drinks to look into the different bars and visit the gift shop. If you're looking for nostalgia, that's a place to go.
respect to the bar staff here, tiki drinks can be tedious, and drinks were coming out pretty quickly. my drink was good, and the atmosphere is nice with low lights and the waterfall sounds. $18 for a singapore sling, prices aren’t on the menu here
Neat place but service takes the cake! Want to shoutout to our bartender who mentioned she was new (tattoos, reddish brown hair), but she was so humble and helpful. It was our first time there so we weren’t really sure what to get but she helped us through the menu and just had such a good vibe. Will be back because this place is rad!
