Chicken schnitzel sandwich was fire!!!
Identified this place for lunch on a road trip and it didn’t disappoint. Little hole in the wall and parking is weird but it’s worth it. Beefy boy and ham and butter sandwiches were top notch and filling. Check it out!

Located in Tacoma, this little hole in the wall is worth it despite the weird parking. The restaurant offers European-style sophistication, not average American deli sandwiches, with paper thin-sliced meats, decadent butter with flaky salt crystals, crusty baguette, and sharp cheese. The Ham & Butter sandwich is simple perfection, while the Citadine features turkey, bacon, sweet onion jam, and kale-hazelnut pesto. The Tunisian Lox sandwich is a 10/10 with rich and bright flavors, and the Tunisian Locks sandwich includes potato, locks, peppers, harrisa, and jammy eggs. The Apple & Arugula salad (hazelnuts, garrotxa cheese, carrot & cabbage, apple cider vinaigrette) is refreshing and well-balanced, and the rye chocolate chip cookie is a must. The potato salad has perfect tanginess, and the coconut rice pudding is an epic finale. The place is perfect for a quick lunch or snack, especially on a sunny day. Great vibes, an old-school arcade machine with free Ms. Pac-man, and consistent, considerate love and care in all the food. The music, specials, cider, beer, and wine are always on point.
