My wife and I went here for a date night based on reviews and proximity. We had drinks, apps and entrees. All the food and drinks we had were great. The server was knowledgeable and professional. Our only concern was the table, menu and even wall at our booth was sticky and had soy sauce everywhere. Overall, our experience was great and would return and recommend as it could have been a one off issue.

Love, love, love TheKoi. We discovered TheKoi sushi and sake restaurant while I was living and working in Lakewood and it has the best sushi we have ever tasted. I recently moved back to Portland OR and my husband and I still have not been able to find a sushi restaurant in Portland that can match TheKoi. The appetizers and sushi never disappoint, the cocktails are tasty and pungent and the service is fun, friendly but always professional. Every trip up to the Seattle/Tacoma/Lakewood...

Food was great, just wish the sashimi was sliced a little thinner, but very generous portions and great value! Excellent service. Would definitely visit again if in the Tacoma area again!
