If I could give less stars, I would. I’m writing this to express my disappointment with an experience I had at your bar on Sunday 8/18/24. I’m a regular customer, but what happened during my recent visit has made me seriously reconsider coming back.
I ordered a drink, only to be horrified when I found a fly floating in it. Shocked and disgusted, I asked for a replacement, expecting this to be a one-time mistake. But to my absolute disbelief, the second drink also had a fly in it.
This experience was utterly nauseating and left me so disgusted that I nearly threw up right there in the middle of the bar. It’s hard to believe that such a blatant lack of hygiene could exist at a place I once trusted.
However, I want to acknowledge that the bartender, Joe, was extremely understanding and did his best to address the situation. He was professional and handled the issue as well as he could in the moment, but this kind of problem shouldn't have happened in the first place.
I expect this issue to be addressed immediately and would like to know how you plan to prevent such incidents in the future. Despite Joe’s efforts to fix the situation temporarily, this experience has left me questioning whether I’ll return.

Went here with the boyfriend and a few friends a couple days ago after work and I’ve been down ever since with food poisoning. I ordered a Cuban and a drink while we waited. Food took a bit and the drink was wrong. At that time it was pretty mellow on the way to getting busier. Everyone else’s orders were also meh this time around. Figured I would be back on my feet by now but the sandwich took me out. Sucks cause I liked this place before but this has been a miserable couple days. Beware of the Cuban I guess?
Love everything about the Top. Sometimes just a little too loud for me.

Certain things remain the same, but there is a loss of spirit since original owners Jaime and Jason went South. Great staff as ever. The burger was excellent, the tacos were ok. It was not busy when we went at 830 on a Saturday... But the music was really loud and I wasn't crazy about the album they were playing. The lack of musical variety hastened our departure. Certainly it's the staff choice on music but a whole hour of it wasn't for me.
2017 Review: While it's become too crowded at night for me to venture in as much due to the college aged scene, I'll brave the neighbourhood crowd during the day for ToT's fantastic menu of sandwiches, salads, nachos and other yummy stuff. Great veggie selections - I order their Buddha Belly wrap most of the time. Delish! The staff here is amazing. I'm a ToT fan for life!

I genuinely used to love this place, but I've had consistently bad service over the last few visits and the food has been hit and miss. The drinks are still strong, but I'd prefer balance over bottom shelf tequila at this point.
