Valhalla Coffee Co. is a delightful coffee shop with friendly service, especially during non-peak hours. The coffee is superb, smooth, and not sweet, making it a favorite among locals. The skilled baristas create amazing drinks like the outstanding oatmilk mochas and decaf Americano with unreal flavor. Recently, customers have been pleasantly surprised by the single origin pourover, calling it a rare treat and possibly the best coffee they’ve had in all of western Washington. The shop’s unique and interesting flavors leave a lasting impression, especially the lattes with oat milk that have a complex, layered structure and a smooth, nutty finish.

It's a small space, so seating is limited, but the atmosphere is good and customers are chill. Street parking can be tricky, but many enjoy walking a few extra blocks for their coffee after visiting the park. The shop offers simple, delicious coffee without crazy sweet drinks and some even spot a cool coffee roasting machine inside. One thing to note is that they don’t offer any pastries, but many see this as a sign of confidence, knowing that the coffee is the main event—and it more than delivers. Valhalla easily holds its own against the best coffee in Europe and is hands-down the best in Washington state.
