16 Best Chinese Restaurants near Tumwater

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Caught exhausted, biking from one of my missions I have never observed such a thrivent atmosphere where they kept my glass full. I've never had cashews in my stir fry before and it was the most filling food I've had in such a unique place. Close to the gym, secluded by one of the best places to catch the tumwater sunset, and some of the best orange chicken I've ever had. Their kitchen is both professional, but homely and offers a great space for both take out and dine in seating.

“Ordered chicken fried rice and it was very good. Unlike Emperor's Palace, they do not skimp on chicken, veggies, etc.Also, it was a very large portion and ended up having to take some of it home! ?The owners and employees are nice, too.The only negative I can even think of is that you can't order online, but you can order over the phone so it is not actually a problem.

Vegetarian options: My two brothers are both vegetarians and had no problem finding something to eat there.

Parking: I've never had any difficulty finding parking.“

“Honestly, one of the kindest set of staff I've seen. Yes, this store gets insanely busy, yes you may need to wait. But the staff (mostly) seem to enjoy working here, and are very cordial to their customers. Sometimes the food is *amazing*, sometimes it's just okay. But overall I've never regretted stopping in for a bite :)“

“This cute restaurant is slightly hidden when you first arrive as my boyfriend and I missed it when we first arrived by GPS. Luckily there was street parking in front of the restaurant and we were able to park just fine and enter the restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress who appears to be the owner and she was very polite and professional with us. She got us waters and menus and gave us the right amount of time to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Singapore fried rice with chicken and I got the spicy garlic chicken with peanut sauce with a Thai iced tea.

The inside of the restaurant is cozy and cute. The ceiling has a beautiful pattern of blue skies with little clouds and there is good lighting throughout the restaurant that gives a pretty casual vibe throughout the restaurant. The food came out after some time and it was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend loved his fried rice and he also took some of the peanut sauce as he said it was very flavorful. I really enjoyed the spicy garlic chicken and wished it was a bit spicier as I ordered hot but that's fine. The peanut sauce was delightful to put on my meal as well. We thought the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and perfect. I look forward to trying more of the dishes here as we were happy with the food, service, and prices!“

“We just happened to be in the area and we're hungry so we walked in. Everything was great the food the people and the service. We just got lucky that they weren't busy(I know that area has a lot of warehouses and businesses around it) so they're going to have rush times.“

“My wife and I found a little gem. There were three kid sitting at a table across the room. Before we had even tasted the food. I could hear them absolutely raving about how delicious the food was to their parents. I would have to agree with those three kids sitting at the table across the room the food was delicious. The prices are beyond fair I would feel guilty if I didn't tip 18% or More.“

“Best of the Buffetts I've been to in years. Clean, food is heat hot , fresh , large selections to choose from. They have sushi that is incredible. The staff if right there at the table if you need anything. They wear masks. The are friendly yet professional. I will be back but don't take my word for it.. come experience the wonderful atmosphere that isn't like a Royla Fork.“

“Let me lay it out for you! I live a bit of a distance away in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And still all I can think about is the spicy teriyaki chicken in lacey, WA?! I have actually tried to convince the owners to open a restaurant in the fabulous 505 for about 20 years now! I have literally shipped the salad dressing to myself in a half gallon jug! I can't say enough how amazing this restaurant is. I became familiar with them during my time in the United States Air Force in the early 2000s. If I were up there I'd be there everyday like I was when I lived 5 minutes away from it! Give yourself a treat and go by! I'm jealous of you already! ?“

“Very clean and organized location, service was fantastic. The only disappointment was the chow mein, it was very undercooked and they look like they were in a hurry to get it out. Making me wait 3 more minutes to get the time to finish cooking would have been better than giving me undercooked food. All the other food I will give a five star to you, but that chow mein was just horrible. Average 4 out of 5 stars“
