First time eating here as a family, we were greeted immediately by our waiter Sean, and he pointed us to a table to sit.
He brought us tea and waters, and I was very patient as we looked over the menu, which they have a pretty large menu...
12 pot stickers came with the order, the while family liked their flavor, and I thought they were a good value for the price compared to other places in the area.
We were impressed with the hearty braised beef noodle soup and the orange chicken, highly recommend.
Sean warned us that the Szechuan beef and the Mongolian beef were very similar, and made a good suggestion of another dish, but we assured him we wanted to try both of them. He was right, and I would agree you shouldn't order those two side-by-side. The spicy chicken was a soup, and it was good, but we probably wouldn't order it again.
Atmosphere got knocked down a point because the booths and bathroom is in need of deep cleaning or replacement/remodel.
Everyone in the family is looking forward to a return visit to try some of the other items on the menu.“

“This restaurant is in Tacoma's middle class area on Pacific Ave. We were a little apprehensive because of the aesthetics, but as we went in, a nice Lady leaving told us they had great food. They cleaned up a window table for us. Then brought us a I-pad to order, they want you to scan in there menu, I declined and received the I-pad. We saw reviews commenting on there Peking Duck and Chow fun Beef. We went for the Duck, Pork Hot & Sour Soup, House Special Fried Rice has shrimp and pork, the fresh Egg Rolls stuffed full of Shrimp were unbeatable. The Duck came with white flat pastry rolls with a nice tangy sauce and veggies, very good. Everything was cooked perfectly with special authentic style and taste. The Jasmine tea was wonderful. I got the lunch special Chicken beef/ teriyaki
It came with a nice portion of rice and fresh salad. My wife ordered the chicken and gyoza meal that was delicious!
They have only raised their prices One time that I am aware of in the last few years even thru covid and it was not extreme like most of the other restaurants.
I would say i would have raised them more myself.
I fed my wife and myself for $25

“I was looking for a quick and affordable food spot nearby as my boyfriend and I were waiting for our groomer to get our dogs ready for a wedding. I definitely shouldn't have thought jajangmyeon as my first option but I was also super hungry and it was the cheapest thing on the menu, while I was also thinking it wouldn't take that long. Plus they were open early which was great as we were in the area around 10am! When we arrived, there was a older gentleman who greeted us then looked like he was prepping for the day. He can speak Korean and English just fine too. Once we were ready, we placed an order of jajangmyeon and egg rolls and he brought us out banchan. I did ask for more daikon but he seemed to have forgotten or maybe left as his daughter was there delivering food, tea and taking orders. She was a lot more attentive, she would check in on customers and was very friendly! Also it turns out that my boyfriend's friend who he has known since high school was that female employee, so for those saying the owners have changed, they have not.

There is plenty of seating at this food court as well as other options from sushi, Korean food and and this spot that serves Korean-Chinese food. The lighting here is a bit dark but it is light enough to take different photos. It's not too cold nor hot either. You can also leave your plates, utensils and trash on the table and someone will come get it.

The jajangmyeon was really good, I was surprised as I feel like there aren't too many places that have good jajangmyeon in Lakewood but I can say it is way better than the other places that serve in the area. I usually don't scoop up the sauce but it was actually really good. They offer kimchi, onion and daikon for their side dishes which I think is perfectly fine. They do offer refills and when I asked for more daikon, the kind female employee even gave me extra vinegar. My boyfriend said the egg roll was pretty good too. We look forward to coming back!“

“This is the best orange chicken place in Tacoma hands down.

Outdoor not really enticing, but don't be fooled. Inside is clean and cute. A bit dated, but that's part of the charm.

Well portioned servings of orange chicken and general tso. The radish kimchi could use a bit more work, but that's fine.

Service could also be friendlier, but that's not what we came for so overall, this place still deserves a solid 5 stars.“

“They need to do something about the flies. I don’t like trying to eat my dinner inside a restaurant fighting off flies. Years ago I didn’t have to pay for tea it came with your meal free. The wonton soup has no vegetables except onions. It has gone downhill over the years and it is very disappointing because they used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. The main location Operator or his second is always there, talking with the patrons, cleaning the dining room, and making sure his staff is on point. With their high volume of to-go orders, drive through, and dine-in the food is always fresh, hot and taste great!!“

The egg drop soup to start off was amazing, and we got the Garlic Chicken and Bulgogi Beef, both are worth trying. “Easily one of the best teriyaki spots I’ve tried in Washington. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. I especially loved that the teriyaki sauce was served warm — it’s a small detail, but it really elevated the whole meal.

The beef dish was amazing and probably my favorite. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food.

We frequent many local casinos and have visited Vegas many times but Tatoosh beats them all. Their food is great and the service is amazing but there is a distinct atmosphere that takes a unique personality and perspective to create. We really appreciate the gentleman who greets nearly every table every time and the servers who go out of their way to make things exactly how you might need them. 5 stars all the way and even a clean restroom. But customer service was so great. The food is amazing and they even snuck in some egg rolls for the girls! I never leave reviews but this place was so inviting, and extremely clean.
