My family and I visited Bonsai Wok Teriyaki today for the first time, and honestly, I can’t believe we didn’t discover this place sooner!

We ordered the yakisoba, teriyaki chicken, chicken cashew, and shrimp tempura, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Each dish tasted like it was made with care, not rushed, and the quality really stood out.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It felt like one of those neighborhood restaurants everyone already loves—and somehow we were the last ones to find out!

This place is definitely going to become one of our family favorites. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommended! 😊🍜🍤“

Sheyla was also very kind, friendly, and helpful. Both of them provided excellent customer service and made my visit even better. “This place was amazing!!! First time my wife and I got it and they have gotten a customer for life, as long as our 2nd and continued visits are just as good.

Ordered over the phone, lady was patience and very friendly. I had some questions about fried rice b/c online I thought they had multiple fried rice options, so onion made it a bit confusing. She cleared that up and continued with the order!!

20 minutes later (I live 18 minutes away) I got greeted with a smile, she immediately guessed who I was (some people may have been upset about that, I very much appreciated it and thought it was funny xD) probably b/c of my last name.

When I got home food was still nice and hot, its was steamy, good portion, good taste, and good quality.

My ONLY constructive comment was sadly the General Tao.
For myself, for a new teriyaki spot to win me over, the General Tao typically needs to be up to my standard. This was not.

The flavor was okay, I’m sure for most people they probably would like it. I will say my best experience was a place that did sauce on the side, a bit spicier (or offered spicier if wanted) and left the chicken crispy and separated from the sauce so the customers adds it themselves once they are ACTUALLY ready to eat. If dining it, that makes sense, but 30 minutes later it’s soft, mushy, and kinda unappealing.

Will most definitely coming back with my wife to dine in and see how the service and quality of food is in house.

“My favorite place to eat! Everything is fresh, well cooked and made with love. Very friendly staff that is willing to make adjustments as needed. Vegetarian, tofu, great drinks and appetizers too!“

“We walked in around 4pm on Saturday. The restaurant was empty but they have a very good rate on reviews, I was afraid it would disappoint us but after saw the menu.. we like most of them, specially on the back of their menu has the all day house specials! I ordered the “pineapple lover” and my husband ordered “spicy garlic stirred fry” which were very yummy. Ended up with great food, perfect portions (for us) most of all great service!“

“Good was tasty and well made. Portions were very small where photos in the menu made them look larger. My friend and I added food after our initial order to fill us up. I don’t like their ordering system. You order “online” while in the store but you pay with a person at the end…answering 5 or 6 questions. The people aspect should be at the beginning. We were there for lunch so I hope their dinner portions were larger but I do t think so (no dinner option to select on the order menu). They’re clearly busy all the time and we arrived early for lunch and were grateful as they were packed when we left. Parking lot is a hot mess driving in circles to get out. Their storefront t is right at the entrance from the road and people won’t let you back out to leave, even if they need your parking space. Service was friendly in delivery and pick up of plates but if they want 20% tip they need to take the order themselves.“

“Truly one of my favorite spots. When I’m have realllly bad craving Souru is always the place I think of first. Best fresh spring rolls, honey chicken, spicy chicken, miso soup, & bubble tea. I drive 45 from home - surpassing many places - just to come here.“

“Best of the Buffetts I've been to in years. Clean, food is heat hot , fresh , large selections to choose from. They have sushi that is incredible. The staff if right there at the table if you need anything. They wear masks. The are friendly yet professional. I will be back but don't take my word for it.. come experience the wonderful atmosphere that isn't like a Royla Fork.“

“I didn't even like teriyaki before coming here. I'm not joking. Never liked teriyaki, decided I should try it again, tried this and my eyes were opened. Highly addictive. Good price for teriyaki though so I can feed my addiction. Enough for two meals also, if I show self control. I do not show self control very often. Lady is very friendly, crab rangoon is good also. Comfortable dining room. I like watching the news here. I would go every day if I could afford it.“

“Ive been here about 10 times. The food is good for fast chinese food, but the flavors are just a little short. The service is good but not very friendly. They seem like they need 1 more person cooking as there are a few people who had to wait for things that have run out on many of my visits.“

“I love getting take out from here! They have a huge variety of options. We can find something to suit all the picky eaters in my family. I love their chicken breast teriyaki and salmon nigiri. My fave!
If you haven't, give them a shot. They have nice specials through door dash and fair pricing.“
