My family and I visited Bonsai Wok Teriyaki today for the first time, and honestly, I can’t believe we didn’t discover this place sooner!

We ordered the yakisoba, teriyaki chicken, chicken cashew, and shrimp tempura, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Each dish tasted like it was made with care, not rushed, and the quality really stood out.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It felt like one of those neighborhood restaurants everyone already loves—and somehow we were the last ones to find out!

This place is definitely going to become one of our family favorites. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommended! 😊🍜🍤“

“Me and my partners favorite place to go eat, It's just such a long drive from shelton i wish there was a location in shelton to the northwest.
Always had good un-burnt orange chicken and one of the few places to get decent cream-cheese wontons besides emperors palace.“

“This place is so good BUT the wait time is so long. I ordered online and had to wait 15-20 mins past their estimated time which was already a long wait.
Their food is delicious though. If you have time to wait, this is worth it. Just don’t expect to be eating quickly.“

“I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely.

My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly.

The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate.

The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. They kept it true and consistent through thick and thin over the years!“

“We walked in around 4pm on Saturday. The restaurant was empty but they have a very good rate on reviews, I was afraid it would disappoint us but after saw the menu.. we like most of them, specially on the back of their menu has the all day house specials! I ordered the “pineapple lover” and my husband ordered “spicy garlic stirred fry” which were very yummy. Ended up with great food, perfect portions (for us) most of all great service!“

“Best of the Buffetts I've been to in years. Clean, food is heat hot , fresh , large selections to choose from. They have sushi that is incredible. The staff if right there at the table if you need anything. They wear masks. The are friendly yet professional. I will be back but don't take my word for it.. come experience the wonderful atmosphere that isn't like a Royla Fork.“

“Stopped by while passing through and was pleasantly surprised. It looked like the owner was running the place by himself, taking orders and serving food, but everything still ran smoothly. You order and pay first, then sit down, which is a little different at first, but the service was still quick and efficient.

We ordered the chicken katsu and the spicy chicken teriyaki, and both were really good. The lunch menu prices were great too. I just wish I had taken a picture of the menu!“

“Toto’s Teriyaki & Wok has been one of my favorite places to eat for many years. The food is consistently excellent and I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s honestly the only teriyaki restaurant I go to in Lacey.

My go-to order is the pork teriyaki, and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in the area. The flavor is always great and consistently the same and it’s cooked just right.

I’ve tried several other items on the menu over the years and everything has been very good. I also love their salad. I normally don’t like salad dressing at all, but their dressing is so good that I actually enjoy it.

If you’re looking for great teriyaki in Lacey, this place is definitely worth trying.“

“Very clean and organized location, service was fantastic. The only disappointment was the chow mein, it was very undercooked and they look like they were in a hurry to get it out. Making me wait 3 more minutes to get the time to finish cooking would have been better than giving me undercooked food. All the other food I will give a five star to you, but that chow mein was just horrible. Average 4 out of 5 stars“
