“Food was amazing. I need a place like this in my town. Service was good but could have been friendlier. Atmosphere was more like a take out place but the food made up for any flaws! Food was simple but extremely tasty. Exactly how I like it.“
“2nd time here and the food is great! We love the pho, The kids loved the chicken teriyaki and yakisoba noodles. This has become our go to for family dinner night.Vegetarian options: Veggie and tofu pho, veggie and tofu yakisoba tofu spring rollsDietary restrictions: I’m vegetarian and love the tofu veggie phoKid-friendliness: Great size kid menu“
“Very surprised that no one(customers wise) was there when we came in. It was my second time going and had high expectations since my first time here was very good. They have exceeded my expectations! The waitress was very nice and the food was great for it’s price. Will be a regular and continue to spread the word for this.“
“Stopped at Bonsai for lunch/dinner. Been here before and the portions are great. So I ate half for lunch and will eat the rest for dinner. Prices are on par with most teriyaki places in town. There is a language barrier which makes service a bit of an issue. Food is as good as most places but they give you a lot. I had Mongolian beef and as you can see by the picture, there’s a lot of beef.“
“Alas, we cannot afford to eat here anymore. The food is great. It's still the same amount and everything but I remember when you could get a Yaki Udon for eleven bucks, now it's twenty. It's just too expensive for us. A fifty dollar bill for two people...and that's without drinks. Or tip.“
“Thank you Tess! We had an awesome time with great food and excellent service. The spicy tuna roll is a staple, and the 'cry baby' along with the 'panic' rolls are out of bounds! Really well made sushi with just the perfect amount of fresh ginger - cannot beat it!There are many vegan and vegetarian options as well. The import beers are a little pricey, but they are served cold, wet, and delicious. There is parking out front and in the spring you catch the Japanese cherry blossoms blooming. They also have a covered back patio that will open up in April. Which means they will need more help because it is going to be packed. Some of the best sushi I have had - keep it up Kamakura team!!“
“Best sushi I've had in Washington. The atmosphere is great but the service is top notch. I've been here 3 or 4 times and every experience is better than the last. Mira is an amazing server. Pray that she's working when you visit. Great recommendations always and very personable and funny too. Mira isn't mean.“
“I’m a regular here! I love their many many Asian Cuisine options between Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian & Korean dishes!Definitely recommend their signature sushi dishes & sushi bento! I love their crab Rangoon’s & Sushi!!! They do the best sushi in the area of Lacey I would recommend #1!“
“My favorite sushi in Olympia, and one of my favorite restaurants in general. Prices are good, fish is fresh, great selection of rolls. My favorite is the poke roll, simple and delicious. The food always comes out super fast, we order a ton of food between two people and the total is usually about $60-70 (app plus like 5 rolls and sometimes beverages). I love it here so much, it's just a comfortable happy place.“
“Out of all the sushi options in Olympia, I think Sushi House is the best.Good place for a date night, or weeknight meal with the family. We ordered the miso soup with California roll and dragon roll. Everything was delicious. We also got to check out this burning duck dish across the restaurant that sounded really good for next time. My kid got a kick out of the spectacle of it.Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Warm, friendly.Decor isn't overly trendy, but it didn't feel dated either. They were welcoming to my kid. Parking was plentiful.Accessible too.“
“This teriyaki place is where it’s at! Perfect for pickup or delivery, so flavorful with generous portions. As far as the actual restaurant it feels pretty typical, nothing special in terms of sit-down. So I recommend taking it home and having for dinner/lunch the next day. I typically go with the spicy chicken breast teriyaki, with the kids meal for my son. Delish“
“Beautifully decorated and super clean restaurant. Incredibly friendly, efficient, and wonderful service. And most importantly- great sushi. I highly recommend this place. I tried the 911 roll and one of the daily special rolls, the Oishii, and both were delicious. Give this place a shot if you’re in the mood for sushi!“
“First time ordering here and I must say, it wasn’t what I expected but it was still pretty good.Customer service here was unmatched though.. I placed an order through Google and it was ready in 15 mins. The host (and I’m guessing a manager) were very kind when remedying my order after a mistake and even sent me on my way with an extra treat. I look forward to going here again.“
“Came in on a Saturday afternoon. There was one table of people already eating. We were kindly greeted, and placed our order at the counter after looking at the menu briefly. We went with one shrimp fried rice, a Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, regular Chicken Teriyaki, and a Chicken Fried Rice. We opted for water and helped ourselves to water out of the fountain machine before selecting a table and sitting down. The tables are rather small, although there were 4 chairs, it was a bit challenging sitting 4 not very big adults to enjoy a meal comfortably. Those of us who ordered Teriyaki were brought out salads--iceberg with Asian style dressing. I much prefer Teriyaki spots that serve stir fried vegetables instead of this kind of salad--but to each their own. Shortly after the salad came out the food. The Chicken Fried Rice was HUGE! Shrimp Fried rice appeared to have slightly smaller serving, using bay shrimp with a few bigger shrimp. The portion size was great, but could use a little more umph (flavor). Teriyakis were both larger portions compared to a lot of other restaurants. The Spicy Chicken wasn't really spicy though, just served with several fried japones, but I did like that there were some vegetables stir fried in (bean sprouts, green and yellow/white onion, broccoli). Overall, I would give a rating of 3.5-decent Teriyaki with good size portions and kind service. We would return.“
