“We accidentally found these phenomenal waffles on our way to a softball tournament in Centralia. So phenomenal in fact that we drove out of our way 3 days in a row to come back for breakfast. We tried the Bourbon Maple w/ Bacon, the Dalmatian, The Local GOAT, Jalapeno Business and Banana's foster, all exceeded our expectations. Definitely give Abe's a try, you won't be sorry!“

Their menu is pretty limited but their daily specials are very reasonable.“

“Whenever we travel through Olympia or spend a little time there, the Tiny Taproom at Whitewood is a must stop. They make incredible ciders and there is something for everybody. Situated right next to a pod of food trucks, so there's always something tasty to nosh on if you need a bite. 10/10, we love Whitewood!“

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“Excellent brewpub style spot that is very committed to its theme. The staff was friendly and gracious and there was live music which I enjoyed but it did make conversation more difficult. The appetizer special (friend chicken bites) was great and my dish was excellent. My party was generally pleased but the ribs on one of our dishes were pretty bland and appeared to have been boiled but didn't spend much time on the grill coming back to life. Overall it was a great experience and I'd go back if I was in the area again.“

“We have been wanted to try ever since Row opened and finally made it today for brunch. Both hubby and I were delighted with our food! Croque Madame - outstanding! Salmon Omelette - also very good. “This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“I normally don’t do reviews but i need to today. I come to this stand a lot and I’m always greeted well. Everyone is always so amazing. I went in yesterday because I’ve been having a rough couple of days and decided I wanted a treat. The guy taking my order asks me how I was doing and I responded how I was having a rough time. He was incredibly kind. Normally I don’t really talk like that but yesterday I decided to be honest. I go to pay and he tells me he is covering it. I truly hope this doesn’t get him in trouble but I cried on my way home. Last week for me as been really challenging mentally and it’s been a lot. A simple act of kindness. It meant everything. “The food was very fresh and so flavorful, my husband had a carne asada torta he absolutely loved the fresh bread it was a packed sandwich. I don’t eat meat much so they custom made me a meatless torta the beans are so good and the bread. My son had a chicken quesadilla and we all shared an order of potato taquitos. Yes we like to eat and everything was delicious. We took our order to go and drove 7 miles back home the food was still very warm. Well be visiting again.“

“I just ate the best pizza, even though I broke my carb diet on this 2nd day of January. I give exactly 0 f**ks bcz it was THAT good. Omg. The crust is the most important component, imo, and it was just so fresh and chewy, yet tossed thin and baked to be crusty. I’m a mushroom fan but my partner isn’t, so I got a small with the house red sauce, cheese and double shrooms. Heavenly. They also sautee the mushrooms in what tastes like butter and garlic before adding them to the pie. Not just sliced, uncooked slabs of mushroom. Thank you for starting off my year with this quality pie!! And the service was stellar, too!“

“The owner is the most beautiful woman on the planet. I have no idea why she is in Downtown Olympia because she belongs in Heaven. The ice cream, delicious, the aesthetic; brilliant. You are a complete idiot if you do not try Juju's ice cream and then go down the road to Cascadia to delight yourself with their legendary brown sugar pie. Baskin Robbins is legitimate garbage in comparison. Don't be stupid.

“Ate here on a whim with some friends while exploring downtown Olympia and I have to say their food was great! Ordered a 16 inch pepperoni pizza which was made on a thin crust; it had the perfect amount of everything and the crust had really good flavor to it. We also ordered some buffalo wings. I always mentally prepare myself for how spicy buffalo wings might be, but this was perfect in heat. It has just the right kick to it and it went well with their ranch sauce (possibly made in house). Definitely would love to return and try their other menu options along with some of their drinks!

Parking: If street parking isn't available, you can always just park at Percival Landing and walk over.

Kid-friendliness: Not meant for children, everyones IDs get checked.
