I had some biscuits n gravy earlier today and didn’t think I could finish it. It was so good I had no problem finishing it. It was that good.

Fat Dave’s, a beloved old time western diner, has sadly closed. Final days were very busy, with food and service still excellent. For over 20 years, it was a go-to for a burger or omelette, with great food, great service, and even nice customers. The chicken fried steak is a burger patty dipped in pancake batter. After COVID, they were back and as good as ever, with great omelets and breakfast. Not fancy, not a first date, but friendly waitresses, decent food, and a vibe that makes a 60-year-old feel about 10. The bar was very busy, and all the folks inside looked very happy. It was always a great meal with good service and good company.
