It's the best Chinese food you will find in Vancouver area. Not that there is much competition but after trying quite a few places Golden City has been the most consistent. Prices and amount of food you get is a big plus. They tend to be a bit mild on the spiciness. Our favorites are the General tso chicken, sesame beef, chicken lo-mein.
The BEST Chinese food we've had since moving to the PNW almost 2 decades ago.Anytime someone tells me to try their favorite Chinese restaurant I am ultimately always disappointed. It's usually good that's over breaded, or soggy, or sat around all day. I got pork lo mein and pot stickers to go. The lo mein helping was huge! Not much flavor, that was a little disappointing, but the texture of the noodles was chewy and wonderful. Definitely comfort food. And the potstickers were as amazing as the reviews said. They are about the side of my entire palm, with thick chewy dough and a massive dollop of yummy pork filling.
