Ok, I love Grassa, been coming here for years both in Portland and in Vancouver. Didn't get the full five stars because they changed the meatball recipe or something to make them too spicy. Maybe they didn't make a test meatball from the mix to address quality control, but just wanted to make the owners aware that stuff matters.
Two of our pasta dishes were chewy. Everyone else’s dishes were great. I ordered their version of an espresso martini and did not like it. There was an orange in it. Overall it was a good meal. Not sure that we would go back.
The second we walked in were greeted with a smile. The board to order is big and easy to read. Our questions were answered pleasantly and we dove right into the menu. Pasta was delectable and the ceasar salad was incredible! Great date night spot!
