Makoto Japanese Buffet Reviews
The best bang for your buck when it comes to Japanese food. All you can eat for a decent price. Tons of sushi options (yep! All-you-can-eat sushi), fresh grill-style options, and plenty of other Japanese options, including noodles, rice, gyozas, Kung Pao, beef, chicken skewers, string beans, hot and cold beverages, and of course soups and deserts.
Staff are friendly and clear tables quickly to keep the wait time to none most of the time.

very judgemental people. Used to love coming here, but not anymore after how the management treated a family today that had fun dyed hair and fishnets on (it was a teenager for craps sake) and the mom had colorful hair too. Unbelievable how rudely they were treated and the comments that management said about them out loud.
Careful when ordering take out sushi.
Usually I just get to go sushi, mainly at dinner time on the weekends. There’s an adorable nice host who’s always so sweet to help me, even when it’s busy and she already have my gluten free soy sauce prepared. She rings in the sushi and it’s usually $16-21 and the box is packed with nigiri and other rolls to the point you can’t fit anymore
BUT … and I hate to say this. Every time an Asian worker up it’s always way more,...read full review

Makoto Japanese Buffet offers a decent sushi selection, with great nigiri options available for dinner. The buffet provides a variety of fresh seafood, including crab, oysters, and clams, at reasonable prices. It features tons of sushi options, including all-you-can-eat sushi, fresh grill-style options, noodles, rice, gyozas, Kung Pao, beef, chicken skewers, string beans, hot and cold beverages, soups, and desserts. The house sauce that accompanies the gyoza is a highlight. The food is praised for its good flavor and variety. The food was very enjoyable. The seafood selection is pretty good overall, and most of it hit the spot. The price, especially if you come at lunch time, is an absolute steal. Some items aren't as great as others. Definitely lower end sushi but still tasty enough. The vegetable tempura, noodles, dumplings, green beans and a few other things were loved. The service was great. They were very fast and attentive at refilling drinks and removing plates. The atmosphere was average.
