We were greeted by smiles and left with smiles. They share Oaxacan family recipes in a welcoming, colorful, and lively environment. The menu is familiar to most of us with burritos, tacos, and enchiladas, but the flavors are distinctively special. Not a fan of paying separately for salsa and chips, but it was the opener to flavorful and rich and hot salsas, mole, and spicy red and green enchiladas. I had the chilaquiles (tomatillo) and they were absolute fire. The chips were crispy not oily and the salsa was so fresh and delish! The owner brought out his grandmothers recipe for mole that they make from scratch for us to try and oh my word yum!
This place is exceptional. We just moved here from Austin, Texas and have officially found our favorite restaurant to get Mexican food. Don't sleep on this place-the food is exceptional, the margaritas are the best we've had in years, and the people are friendly and welcoming.
