The location is on a downtown Vancouver corner which has mutated from several other businesses to The Grocery.

Pre-prohibition drinks and the bartenders absolutely make the drinks to perfection. This is where I learned what an old fashioned is supposed to taste like. The Atmosphere music is from a record player and the records from whatever bartender happens to be working that day. It's great.

Cocktails were *top notch*. I had an Emerald Canopy (punchy, pineapple forward), and my Lady had Pelennor Fields (like a smoked old fashioned, but a bit fruity), and both were excellent. I also had a rum punch, which was also great....
