We haven't been here in a very long time. Went there yesterday for HH. I really wish that the mac-n-cheese was offered on their regular menu, like it used to be. The pulled pork mac-n-cheese is delicious, however, the meat on top wasn't very hot, so it does get cold fast. We ordered beers and got our food before we got our beers. The Smokin Oak is an neighborhood gem with a killer vibe and top notch bbq. Phil is one of the friendliest owners around - he always goes out of his way to treat humans and doggo visitors like family!
I debated or not to leave this review because the food was amazing and I would probably be back for that but definitely not the service. I explained that I had a food allergy of egg and the server taking my order acted like it was the biggest inconvenience for him and tried to push dishes on me I didn’t want.
