The menu here is just awesome. I think I’ve tried everything and everything is very good, clearly made with care by people who actually eat the food they make. they like big flavors here. The chicken teriyaki is barbecued just the side of blackened with a powerfully flavorful sauce. The sauce has the familiar comforting teriyaki combo of salty sweet and tangy but leans less on the sugar and more on the ginger and slightly more complex flavors. But it’s still definitely teriyaki....
Had an awesome time at pop pop. Great selection of beers and food options are perfect for vegans and others. We got there a little later and after dinner when asking about having one more beer, the bartender had a classic line response and said “You can do whatever you want” 😂
