Stopped into Columbia Cafe (inside Pybus Public Market) in Wenatchee for a quick breakfast and was impressed! The Americano was rich, smooth, and properly extracted — exactly what you hope for from a quality coffee spot ☕️

I also grabbed a lemon bar and a Valentine’s sugar cookie to bring home. Both were excellent, but the lemon bar was the standout — bright, perfectly tart, yet just a bit sweet with a buttery, tender crust.. now I’m drooling thinking about it 🤤

If you’re at Pybus Market and want great coffee and truly well-made pastries in Wenatchee, this is an easy recommendation!

This is one of my most favorite places in all of wenatchee valley to eat. I love the owners and what they put out for all of us to gobble down. Highly recommend the quiche and the ham and cheese pastry and the orange almond cake and the iced matcha breve and the cold oats in the cooler. The nanimo bars are also bomb and all their lil tarts are always spot on. The crust on the quiche puts a lot of grandma's to shame, js😹 love you guys so much!!!!🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

Maybe you end up at a place by virtue of convenience, or coincidence or, maybe, even by coercion. Perhaps, by chance, that place has things you like, but the service doesn’t suit you, and you aren’t inclined to return. Maybe it’s the opposite, and the charm seemingly outshines the offerings. Or, maybe all the things manage only to manifest in mediocrity. Then there is the rare exception—the nexus where service, selection and satisfaction all shine. In that case, somehow serendipitously, you’ve managed to find yourself at Cafe Columbia.

Be sure not to hesitate. The unsupposing nonchalance surrounding the entrance might otherwise obscure something remarkable if not for what you’ll find directly behind the counter.

Here, all the savory and sweet aromas effervescing from the display are only surpassed by the subsequent employee interactions that accompany them. This is the magic—the passion of the people is proportional across the spectrum. This isn’t a hyperbolic statement. It’s evident in the way the crust of the ham and Swiss danish flitters in crisp flakes under your fork or in how the sweet cream curls in perfect concentric circles atop the blueberry cheesecake.

And yet, for every perfect dish, rest assured you’ll find an equally pleasing personal interaction to precede it. And that, perhaps, may be the most nursing dish of all.

Food was good but in my opinion nothing extraordinary and too pricy for the quality I revived

I can’t believe a customer, like me, can stand right in front of their display case with two workers right there and nobody else around and not be greeted. So I just left and I’ll never know what the chocolate dessert was. Just not going to spend money at a place that clearly doesn’t care. It’s so unfortunate that these people seem to only be there for a paycheck and have no pride in their work. Historically, worker at Cafe Columbia were micro managed and turn over was high. So maybe it makes sense for workers unhappy with their job.

Favorite cafe in town. Great brew, amazing food (their lemon bars are insanely good), and no matter how busy they are, they always greet you with a smile!

Cafe Columbia is my favorite place to get food in the entire world. Their food is out of this world, and their atmosphere is always such a vibe. Every single member of their team is the absolute best.

I love everything about Cafe Columbia. I love them so much that I even had them cater my wedding — and of course, they went above and beyond, making my entire reception flow perfectly!

Amber & Michelle are the most present, caring, and gifted owners. THANK YOU for being such leaders of top-notch excellence in our magical community, Cafe C!

Hands down the best coffee shop in the Wenatchee area! The drinks are consistently delicious, and the pastries are even better—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming, even to first-time visitors or out-of-towners. This place truly makes you feel at home. A must-stop if you're in town!

Great place to catch-up with friends, meet someone new or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee by yourself. The line can get a bit lengthy, but don't let that deter you; once you get to the counter you'll be greeted by friendly staff, a display case full of amazing pastries and a full food menu all prepared fresh.
